JUNIPER LIQUEUR

Juniper, the common name of "Juniperus Comunis" is an ancient tree that grows wild on the hills and in the mountains of Mediterranean area.

The fruit of the Juniper is a small, round berry, dark and firm, containing one or two seeds rich in a characteristically intense essence; the berries ripen in September and are picked by shaking the branches of the tree.

With the distillate of Juniper, alcohol and sugar aromatic a liqueur of characteristic flavour and aroma is obtained.
