FENU'
SARDINIAN WILD FENNEL LIQUEUR
The fennel from the Latin "Foeniculum" is a grassy plant
that grows in the temperate regions of the Mediterranean area.
In Sardinia, the wild fennel is called "Fenugu" and it
a officinal plant that naturally grows in the countries; his flowers
with a beautiful straw-yellow color and the green seeds, rich of
an essential oil, have a sober and delicate perfume and a pleasant
fresh taste.
The flowers and the seeds start soaking with the alcohol in the steel
siloses, and later around 2 weeks an infusion is extracted with an
intense green color and the wild fresh perfume as Sardinia.
With the distillate, the water, the sugar and the alcohol, the liqueur
of fennel is obtained, very delicate, excellent after the meals,
to taste fresh.
